Janice Tsoh, Ph.D. is an Associate Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. She is a clinical psychologist specialized in behavioral medicine and health psychology. Dr. Tsoh's research program focuses on smoking cessation treatment in special populations of community and clinical settings:  1) researching effective channels for delivering smoking cessation treatment; 2) developing comprehensive and cultural sensitive treatment approaches using a combination of pharmacological and psychological interventions; and 3) disseminating intervention technology from research to the community.  Her current and recent studies include developing a family assisted intervention for  Chinese smokers, and developing a stepped-care intervention for current and former smokers in chemical dependency outpatient treamtne settings.
